Autopsy reports show that Coppell Mayor Jayne Peters was several feet behind her daughter when she shot and killed the 19-year-old. Records released Tuesday by the Dallas County medical examiner and Coppell police said Peters shot herself in the forehead sometime after killing her daughter, Corinne Peters.
