Reyes sentenced to life in murder case (Denton Record-Chronicle)

Two anguished mothers tightly embraced and cried together in grief for their lost children Friday outside a Dallas courtroom. Earlier, a Dallas County jury found Ernesto Reyes guilty of capital murder for raping and strangling University of North Texas sophomore Melanie Goodwin and then burning her body.
